Overview

Tennis elbow is when the tissue connecting the forearm muscle to the elbow, called tendons, becomes irritated or inflamed. Repetitive wrist and arm motions can cause it.

Symptoms

Pain, the primary symptom, is on the outside of the elbow, and, sometimes, in the forearm and wrist.

Treatments

Treatment includes rest, pain relief medicines and physical therapy.
